This week two peer support opportunities to report with the Gobaith Support Project (West Wales) and the Marsh Awards 2020 (England and Wales).


Gobaith Peer Support Project

Applications for this peer support funding, from Minds Aberystwyth and Pembrokeshire and Llanelli Mind, of up to £1000, training and support need to be submitted in three weeks’ time by Friday 30th of October.  To find out more and to download the application form please visit the Mind Aberystwyth website page.

The Marsh Awards 2020

Nominations for the Marsh Awards for Mental Health Peer Support 2020 (England and Wales) are now open. This is an opportunity to nominate your peer support group for an award and receive a cash prize.  The Marsh Awards recognise excellence in mental health peer support in England and Wales. The awards are run by The Marsh Christian Trust, Mind and PeerFest partner organisations.

There will be awards for 9 projects under the categories of:

  • Peer support in marginalised communities
  • Doing it for ourselves
  • Innovative peer support

The deadline for nominations is midnight on Sunday 8 November 2020.
