Activities and Wellbeing

Due to Covid 19 restrictions we are currently offering our activities and wellbeing support by telephone, video chat, email and text.

WELLBEING SUPPORT26/3/21 REFERRALS TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED AS AT CAPACITY

We offer one to one support for individuals who feel they need someone to talk to.  Our Wellbeing Support offers individuals 12 sessions and specifically focuses on helping people to tackle feelings of isolation, manage their mental health, and improve their general wellbeing.  

Wellbeing Support may also involve signposting people to specialist services, as well as supporting them to engage with their local community and/or access opportunities for learning and development. 

Referrals are accepted from professionals and individuals.

TIY TRAUMA INFORMED YOGA

Our yoga sessions take place 12 noon every Thursday and last for one hour.  You will need to be able to join through Zoom.  Support is available to access Zoom upon request. You are free to join with or without a camera. Referrals are accepted from individuals.

MOVEMENT FOR WELLBEING

An online six week course commencing Monday 12th of April

Join in with our guided movements to release stress and tension, connect with your body, and learn new ways to support and nourish yourself.

Dance artist and movement therapist Matilda says “In these sessions I will guide you through simple dance/movement that you can do from the comfort of your home.  We will use other art forms including writing and drawing to reflect movement and will spend time sharing our experiences at the end of each session.”

You are free to join in with or without a camera or microphone and sessions can be delivered bi-lingually.   Sessions will be every Monday for 6 weeks at 11.00am, until 12.15pm, and you will need to join through Zoom. Support is available to access Zoom.

CLWB CREFFT

Clwb Crefft is a women-only group, for women to learn, develop, and share their crafting skills, make friends, and access peer support.  Clwb Crefft welcomes those who are experts, beginners, or those who just want to have a cuppa and a chat. Activities include knitting, sewing, felting, cross stitch etc.

This group takes place on Mondays between 12.30 and 2.30pm.  This is currently a Facebook group accessible by self or professional referral.

ART GROUP

The Art Group welcomes individuals of all abilities to create and work in a peaceful and friendly environment. 

It meets on Tuesdays between 10.00am and 2.30pm.  This is currently a Facebook group accessible by self or professional referral.

CREATIVE HUB

Creative Hub is an arts based group run by Adult Learning Wales. Courses generally run for 8 weeks and build credits which can be used to attain Agored Cymru qualifications. Courses include painting, figure drawing, textiles, mark-making, and mixed media.

Creative Hub currently meets on Thursdays, morning or afternoon, on Microsoft Teams, accessible by self or professional referral.
