Support Workers will deliver the service across Ceredigion from our centre in Aberystwyth. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff providing a high-quality service that enables people to overcome barriers and reconnect with their communities.

Mums Matter Facilitator

Responsible to Mums Matter Co-ordinator
This is a regional service operating across Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire. The service is mainly delivered remotely and there will be a requirement to travel.

Role Summary:
The purpose of this role is to facilitate/co-facilitate Mums Matter programmes and groups. You will be responsible for the administration of the project by maintaining and developing systems to support evaluation and monitoring of the service, and support the Service Lead by handling queries, complete initial assessments and maintain contact with mums in between programmes/groups.
The role will support the Mums Matter Service Lead with recruiting volunteers, ensuring appropriate induction, training and support for volunteers and assisting with delivery, and- develop and strengthen effective working partnership with a wide variety of partner agencies.

As an Employment Specialist Practitioner, you will play a vital role in helping people with mental health support needs on their recovery journey. This is an opportunity to offer hands-on support, to give people the tools they need to recover and ultimately, to transform lives.
It calls for a combination of skills: the ability to empathise with clients; the resilience and determination to seek out job and training opportunities; the communication skills to engage employers and other opportunities and change perceptions around mental health. Peer to Peer Facilitator
22.5 hours per week

Role Summary:
In this role you will support local organisations in developing Peer to Peer groups within their organisations. You will be responsible for liaising with organisations as well as offering some small grants towards supporting this development.
