Mind Aberystwyth is pleased to announce the first of two successful applicants for Gobaith Peer Support Funding.

Living in Suicides Shadow (LiSS) is a peer to peer group for those bereaved by suicide in West Wales.  The aims of the group is to reduce the loneliness and isolation felt by those who have been bereaved by suicide and to provide a safe environment in which members can share their experiences and feelings without judgement, giving and gaining support from each other.   LiSS has been awarded £944 to fund venue hire, website and publicity costs, guest speakers and refreshments.

The Gobaith Peer Support Project is delivered by Mind Aberystwyth in partnership with Mind Pembrokeshire and Llanelli Mind. The project offers grants and support for community groups specifically focussed on suicide and self-harm.
