Dezza’s Cabin, based in Pembrokeshire, is a group supporting vulnerable people with a focus primarily on mental health and suicide prevention. Groups are conversation based, but also offer activity-based sessions such as meditation, building planters, making cards and other craft work. The group has been awarded £878 to purchase IT and digital equipment and and is engaged in peer support training from Mind Aberystwyth and ongoing support from Mind Pembrokeshire.
The Gobaith Peer Support Project is delivered by Mind Aberystwyth in partnership with Mind Pembrokeshire and Llanelli Mind and offers grants and support for community groups in West Wales specifically focussed on suicide and self-harm. It is funded by Hywel Dda University Health Board.
