We are recruiting two Project Workers to deliver our Community Resilence Hub for Ceredigion. The successful applicants will work closely together to deliver a high-quality service to the local community. 15 hours per week, temporary contract until 31.10.22 (any extension subject to funding) starting as soon as possible.

We’re looking for a mum who has been there and knows how hard it can be to manage perinatal mental health challenges and who understands the value of helping others on the road to recovery.

The role is to help our facilitator to deliver an 8 week course at Penparcau Community Hub, Aberystwyth, dates to be confirmed, 2 hours per week. Mind Aberystwyth is looking to recruit volunteers to assist in the delivery of our activity and wellbeing services.

Art and creative expression is helpful to healthy human development and recovery from mental distress. Our art group welcomes individuals of mixed ability to create work in a peaceful and friendly environment.
Creative Hub is an arts-based group run by Adult Learning Wales that enables service users to gain creative qualifications in an accessible and supportive environment.
Connecting with nature can have lots of positive health benefits (both mentally and physically). Our walking group aims to create a healthy and active atmosphere to improve physical, mental and social wellbeing through walks and rambles around Aberystwyth.  
Mind Aberystwyth could not realise its mission without volunteers. Volunteers play an integral part in the success of our service delivery and impact on the lives of our service users.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
1) To provide a presence among service users.
2) Meeting & greeting.
3) Providing relevant information to newcomers.
4) Maintaining a positive and welcoming environment.
5) Monitoring conversation and interaction between service users.
6) Maintain a clean, tidy, safe and organised environment.
7) Serving refreshments.
8) Provide company to service users. If any service user is looking lost or alone, please make it your business to speak to them or pass it on to a member of staff
9) To maintain confidentiality
